Dr. William Leone Recertified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery
William A. Leone, M.D., F.A.C.S., head of The Leone Center for Orthopedic Care at Holy Cross Hospital, announced the he was recertified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (ABOS).
The stringent process recertifies Dr. Leone to practice orthopedic medicine through December 31, 2031.
To ensure safe, ethical, and effective practice of orthopaedic surgery, the ABOS maintains the highest standards for education, practice, and conduct through examination, certification, and maintenance of certification for the benefit of the public. ABOS was established to improve the quality of care and outcomes for patients by ensuring physicians by maintain the highest level of standards for competence and lifelong education of board certified orthopaedic surgeons.
With an extensive amount of experience, Dr. Leone has earned a reputation as one of the country’s top orthopedic surgeons for solving complex hip and knee problems.
