Dr. Leone is an experienced orthopedic surgeon who specializes in solving complex hip and knee problems. His clinical practice emphasizes leading-edge technology, combined with good old-fashioned patient care in a warm and welcoming environment, attracting patients from around the globe. Proficient in utilizing cutting-edge orthopedic technologies, he is the inventor of the Pelvic Alignment Level, a device that allows surgeons to achieve a greater level of implant precision when performing total hip replacements. Computer navigation and robotic technology is employed when performing partial and total knees which further improves the precision, reproducibility and the alignment and balance of the reconstruction. Dr. Leone has been honored as doctor of the year from the Arthritis Foundation and Top Orthopedic Surgeon by Castle Connolly Medical Ltd. for the past 11 years. Dr. Leone graduated from medical school at Emory University in Atlanta. He later interned and completed his residency at JMH/ University of Miami then moved to Broward to start his specialty practice at Holy Cross Hospital, opening The Leone Center of Orthopedic Care in 2009.
