Thank you so very much for giving me back my mobility!

Dear Dr. Leone:

As Thanksgiving Day approaches, I find myself reflecting on how grateful I am to those who have contributed to my life in a manner that made it better.  Dr. Leone, you and your staff are on top of my list and I want to take a moment to express my gratitude to all of you.

Thank you so very much for giving me back my mobility! I had my right total hip replacement in March of 2017 and my left one in January of 2018.  Both surgeries were a great success thanks to your exceptional surgical skills and your kind, caring, and professional care during both my surgeries.

This past summer, for the first time in three years, I could walk the steep cobblestone streets in our island house in Greece without pain!  The village, perched on a mountain side, requires strength and endurance to navigate the steep narrow roads.  Prior to my surgeries, in order to ease my discomfort, we had to drive through an unpaved, ragged narrow forest road just so we could park closer to our house. Not this summer!  I swam and walked every day, and marveled and appreciated the fact that I could do so without any discomfort.
