Returning to playing tournament golf just eight weeks after my knee surgery.
Dear Doc,
Just wanted to let you know that last week I played in a golf Tournament at Ocean Reef just 8+ weeks after my knee surgery. On Wednesday in the practice round there were cart paths only and I had no problem playing and walking 18 holes. The 1st round was cancelled on Thursday and I had to play 36 holes on Friday. I was amazed that I not only was able to play and finish 36 holes but at how well I played.
I was able to move off my right side into the ball. The fact that I made 7 birdies for the day and drove home 2 hours without one bit of discomfort or pain was the best feeling.
I can’t remember ever walking so well and everyone at the club says the same thing.
Looking forward to getting the other one done next year.
