Dr. Leone was the obvious choice when I needed a total hip replacement.

During the years that I worked as a PT at Holy Cross hospital both on the orthopedic floor/4 W and the Intensive Rehabilitation unit I had time to observe Dr. Leone interacting both with his patients and the staff. I was impressed by his professionalism, his listening skills and his bedside manners – all things I look for in a physician. I also knew about his extraordinary reputation as orthopedic surgeon.

Based on that Dr. Leone was the obvious choice, when it became clear in March, 2018 that I needed a total hip replacement. My family and friends were surprised how calm I was before the upcoming surgery . I knew that I had made the right choice and that I was going to be in good hands.

There is a lot of positive energy in your office. The staff is very friendly and seems to be happy to work there. In my opinion workplaces are as good or bad as the person in charge. So you can take credit for creating that environment.Both the surgery and rehabilitation went smoothly. I am now 8 weeks post-op.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

After only two months following my surgery I am exercising in the pool and the gym,  walking up to 4 miles and was back on my bike again for the first time and biked 10 miles!

It is now 9 + months since my Total Hip Replacement.  Thanks to you I am back to doing things I love – traveling & exploring different cultures (which for me also involves taking a lot of photos), biking and hiking in Egypt.

I have tested my “new” hip in medieval towns, walked on cobblestones and climbed century old steps that all are a different height.

It was this right decision to have the surgery done, I knew where to find the right surgeon, and I am very thankful.
