Our Team

The Leone Center for Orthopedic Care is staffed by highly-skilled, caring, and conscientious professionals dedicated to the highest standards of practice. Our collective goal is to achieve consistently superb clinical results for patients while respecting their dignity and time, and by making their end-to-end experience as pleasant and comfortable as possible. From the moment the first appointment is made, through surgery, rehabilitation and after-care, our patients are treated with compassion and their concerns are our priority. We have built our successful practice on referrals from satisfied patients.

Patient Liaison

At The Leone Center, we see our patients as individuals with unique and important needs. We begin with respect: for your time, your dignity, your situation. We understand that a successful surgery is only one part of a patient’s overall experience. For this reason, we work in partnership with Holy Cross Health to provide enhanced services that address the many aspects of orthopedic care beyond the surgery itself.

To ensure that patients’ questions and concerns are addressed, we offer the services of a Patient Liaison. The Patient Liaison is available to facilitate communication with clinical personnel and to help patients and their families with non-medical issues, such as quality of care, access to care, staff interactions and general assistance matters. Our Patient Liaisons maintain the highest level of privacy and discretion. All interactions with patients or their families are kept strictly confidential.

In concert with the Patient Liaison, our support staff is available to help patients with everything from managing pre-surgery logistics, to arranging private rooms and VIP meals, to coordinating consultations with medical specialists and much more. No detail is too small. Every effort is made to help patients through the pre-admission, education, and medical clearance processes as efficiently and easily as possible.

Our commitment does not end when our patients are discharged from the hospital. We arrange home visits from trained nurses and physical therapists, outpatient therapy, or continued therapy in our IRU or other facility. Many of our patients opt for membership at the Zachariah Family Wellness Pavilion, Holy Cross Health’s full-service fitness center. Membership includes private consultations with a staff exercise physiologist who will design a personalized exercise program tailored to their individual rehabilitation needs. Hospital Amenities

The Leone Center works with Holy Cross Hospital to provide amenities designed to make your experience as comfortable and as convenient as possible. Note that additional charges may apply for some services.

Private Rooms
Holy Cross Hospital offers private and semi-private rooms.

Extra Night’s Stay
We can help arrange for an extra night’s stay in cases where additional hospital time will benefit personal comfort or care.

VIP Meals
A leather-bound VIP menu offers specially prepared meals, delivered by a private host or hostess. A variety of pre-packaged Kosher meals are available upon request. Patients with a pre-arranged private room automatically receive an upgraded VIP menu and special room service privileges.

Transportation
Your Patient Liaison can help arrange transportation through one of our preferred limousine services for travel to the hospital on the day of surgery and for travel home or to another destination at the conclusion of your hospital stay.

Security
Holy Cross Hospital has a highly qualified security staff to ensure peace of mind. Patients may request to store their personal valuables in our hospital safe.

Pastoral Care
As part of our mission to heal the whole person, Holy Cross Hospital has an active and vibrant Spiritual & Palliative Care Program. Our trained chaplains, rabbis, ministers and advisors are available to help patients and their families adjust to illness or injury through supportive individual and group counseling. Many find pastoral care helpful in the management of both emotional distress and specific concerns, including excessive fear or anxiety caused by illness, procedures or treatment.

Translation
Holy Cross Hospital makes translation services available for our non-English speaking patients. Simply inform the Patient Liaison of your need at the time of scheduling, and we will provide translation services in your preferred language.
